Customer support automation
Most support volume is a small number of questions asked thousands of times. Automating those properly gives your team back the time for the cases that need a human.
What the build involves
The system answers from your help content and your live systems — order status, account state, delivery dates — so it can resolve rather than deflect. Anything outside its remit goes to a person with the full conversation attached.
We instrument it from day one: resolution rate, escalation reasons, and the questions it handled badly. That last list is the roadmap for the next iteration and usually the most valuable output in month one.
- Answers grounded in help content, with citations
- Live lookups against order and account systems
- Escalation with full context handed to the agent
- Tone and policy boundaries you control
- Analytics on volume, resolution and failure reasons
- Integration with your existing helpdesk
Frequently asked questions
What resolution rate is realistic?
For transactional queries — order status, returns, account questions — 40–60% fully resolved is a sound target. Anyone promising 90% is either counting deflections as resolutions or has never run one in production.
Will customers know they are talking to AI?
Yes, and they should. Disclosure is increasingly a legal requirement and it improves outcomes: people phrase things more clearly and escalate sooner when the assistant cannot help.
How long to launch?
Four to six weeks for a production deployment including your systems integration and evaluation. A read-only prototype answering from help content can be in front of you in about a week.
